The wife of a king who ruled this region was suffering from skin problem due to her past sins.  No treatment was successful and slowly she began to lose her good looking.  The king thought of rejecting her and wanted to marry another woman.  The queen prayed to Perumal for a cure and change of mind of the king.  Responding to her prayer, Perumal not only relieved her of her illness but made her more beautiful than before and advised the king too.  He changed his mind and restored their marital happiness.
